Wow! Time really flies! It has been a really busy 2008 and we are grateful for all the wonderful clients and events we’ve been part of.
Here in the Northwest we are dealing with horrendous weather which is why I am finally able to write. It’s cold and icy outside and I’m forced to stay in – at least we still have electricity. Tomorrow is supposed to bring a big wind storm and more snow so let’s hope we don’t lose power for long. All the parties for this week have had to cancel and reschedule so I spent yesterday watching all the silly drivers trying to make it up my icy hill.
Please don’t drive if you don’t have to – nothing is worth the cost of your life or the life of an innocent bystander!
I feel blessed to be sitting in my warm office in front of my computer and even though I can’t make it out to go shopping there is always something to eat. Even with all the weather issues everyone I know is looking forward to the coming celebrations with family, friends and loved ones.
Chanukkah begins this Sunday at sundown and Christmas eve is Wednesday. New Year’s is just another week after that and then we have the Seattle Wedding Show on January 3rd and 4th.
We wish all of you a very safe, warm and happy holiday season! We are looking forward to all the celebrations of 2009!
Peace, love, joy – Mari
