I have a chip on my shoulder, kinda feel like a #saltydog. Actually, I have rave to post, then a rant.
First, I want to rave about my friend, my manager, my mentor: Mari (pronounced Marie) That’s right. She’s one of the most amazing humans I’ve had the honor to being in her orbit.
Many others have met her, and concluded the same. Her past clients echo the same comment based on their testimonials: she’s amazing! This message is directed to her future clients, and/or on-the-fence about booking her – you’ll get what you pay for!
When I hear the word “innovator”, I instantly think about Mari. I say that because anytime I check in with her, whether it’s been a day, a week or a month, she’s excited to share with me the newest technology she’s been developing or refining for the business.
I eagerly anticipate her news, too. Why? It always enhances or propels our experiential events!
So I can proudly say, that you get what you what you pay for with Amore Events & Entertainment. Period. Our testimonials that we received corroborate my statement.
If she’s not developing her existing technology, then she’s got a pulse on the “next big trend” in the entertainment business. I’m not joking, either.
She identified that photo booths would be the next big deal in the DJ / Entertaining business BEFORE it really exploded on the scene. I asked her clarification questions, not to be her critic but from a genuine stance of inquiry.
She smiled, and replied, I just know.
And ya know what, y’all? She was on-point. She was ready, too. While every other business was playing catch up, hers was on the forefront. I can envision, that always will be.
WARNING: Rant Ahead
That being said, I have a rant. You get what you pay for in this world, whether it be an entertainment business, a plumber, a doctor, or any other professional service out there.
We do the daily grind. We have the experience. We have the tools, the resources, do the task at hand, and do it at level that earns the payment attached to it.
You wouldn’t pay your landscaper to do your brain surgery. Ok, so then for your event, why would you pay less than market value for the services needed?
I understand. There’s a budget. Funds are tight. If your intention(s) is top-notch entertainment, you’re gonna pay for that. Especially if that event is your wedding.
Read that again, your wedding!
A life event that is not taken lightly. A celebration that should be facilitated by professionals in every aspect. The officiant, the cater, the florist, the baker for your cake, photographer, videographer, all should be professionals in their trade.
So why on Earth would you pay your nephew to do the day-of-coordination $100 to work an iPod playlist?
The DJ is the single most important person on the services side to a wedding. Any DJ worth their money will establish the direction for cues for each of the other professionals.
We are, in a sense, the star quarterback of the show. To facilitate the vision of the coach, or in this analogy, the bride and groom. Any adjustments that are needed, which they always are, can be done seamlessly.
Just pay for a professional DJ service for your wedding, please! We prefer you book our company, Amore Events & Entertainment. But for the love of event success, you’re gonna get what you pay for.
*sigh* Rant over.
