Wedding Season In Washington 2018

May 29, 2018 By //  by Carlos Bayne

By the time this post is published, the Royal Wedding will have come and gone. And with the time zone difference, it was broadcasted at 3 am on a weekday. While I had zero desire to follow the story, it piqued my interest on when Wedding Season In Washington 2018 would start… It’s usually June to September, but this year it started mid-May. Or at least for us, Amore Events & Entertainment. We just did one before Memorial Day Weekend.

Even before the season starts, I’m on the look out for the wedding song of the year – ya know, the one song that EVERYONE requests to play. When Ed Sheeran released the love song, Perfect, I knew instantly that’s 2018 wedding song of the year. I am a hopeless romantic at heart, but it was so over the top in love sappiness that I knew it would be the most requested song.

I digress.

Wedding Season In Washington 2018 usually don’t have outdoor weddings until late July, but not this year! The bride and groom took a chance on an outdoor wedding in Washington for mid-May. Sure enough, it did rain. Rain like Alanis’s song, Ironic. Chad and I hustled up to protect the photo booth equipment while Mari continued to DJ.

It was definitely an event to remember! At least the rain held off until after the ceremony and during the reception which was held under a tent.

The guests didn’t seem to mind, but event staff was running around behind the scenes to control the water. Now that wedding season is officially underway, I can’t wait for more memorable moments like that one!

Do you have an event story similar to ours? Would you like to share it with us? We’d love to read about it.

Until then, be good like you should, and if you can’t be good, be good at what you do!
